Your path to a new smile

Modern teeth straightening with clear aligners instead of braces.

Discreet teeth straightening

Many people would like to correct the position of their teeth, but want the treatment to remain as discreet as possible in everyday life. Traditional braces are no longer the preferred option for many — modern aligners are.

How does treatment with clear aligners work?

Teeth are straightened using transparent, custom-made aligners. The aligners are changed approximately every 14 days and gently move the teeth step by step into the desired position. Over time, this creates a natural, harmonious smile.

The modern alternative to braces

Compared to fixed braces, treatment with aligners offers several advantages — especially for people looking for a discreet solution that fits easily into everyday life.

Discreet correction

The transparent aligners are barely visible in everyday life and allow for discreet treatment — whether at work, at school or in social settings.

Comfortable to wear

Ultra-thin, smooth and free from irritating metal. The aligners fit comfortably and work completely without wires or brackets.

Flexible in everyday life

The aligners can be easily removed for eating, drinking and brushing your teeth. This allows you to maintain your usual routines and stay flexible.

Predictable treatment

A 3D simulation shows the possible result in advance. In many cases, treatment can be shorter than with traditional braces.

Five steps to straighter teeth

  1. 01

    Impression or digital scan

The foundation of your treatment plan

At your first consultation, impressions or a digital scan of your teeth can be taken. This provides the basis for your individual treatment plan and allows a precise assessment of your current tooth position.

    Consultation with 3D preview

    See your result in advance

Based on your records, an individual digital treatment plan is created, taking into account the assessment of your dental practice. At your next appointment, you will receive a 3D preview showing how your teeth are expected to move step by step and the intended result. This allows you to see a possible outcome before treatment begins and decide whether you would like to proceed.

    Custom manufacturing

    Your aligners — custom-made

Once you approve the treatment plan, your aligners are custom-made for you. Depending on your needs, they can be used for the upper jaw, the lower jaw, or both. At the start of your treatment, you will receive a series of aligners to be worn one after another.

    Wearing the aligners

    Your treatment in daily life

You wear the aligners in everyday life and change them at regular intervals — usually about every two weeks. Each aligner applies gentle, targeted pressure to move your teeth step by step into the desired position. For the best possible result, the aligners should be worn for around 22–23 hours a day and removed only for eating and brushing your teeth.

  5. 05

    Completion and retention

    So your smile lasts

Once treatment is complete, the result is stabilised so that your teeth remain in their new position over the long term. This is usually done with a retainer, which is mainly worn at night. Alternatively, or in addition, a fixed retainer wire can be placed on the inside of the teeth, where it remains invisible from the outside.

Is aligner treatment right for you?

Aligner treatment is suitable for many types of tooth misalignment — both for teenagers and adults. Especially for mild to moderate misalignments, aligners offer a discreet and practical solution for everyday life.

Crowding

Gaps between teeth

Overbite

Underbite

Crossbite

Open bite

Displaced teeth

Aligner treatment is generally only suitable once the permanent teeth have erupted — baby teeth are not treated. The scope of treatment may vary depending on your individual starting situation. Your dental practice will therefore assess whether aligner therapy is suitable for you.

Treatment duration and costs

The duration and cost of aligner treatment are always individual and depend on your personal starting situation. The key factors are how pronounced the tooth misalignment is and how extensive the required tooth movements are.

The exact costs are determined during the consultation at your dental practice. There, you will receive an individual assessment as well as a specific treatment and cost plan. You can then decide at your own pace whether you would like to start treatment.
